Earth Day Planting Party 🌱🌎

Celebrate Earth Day with a relaxing, creative self-care activity while giving new life to old items! Bring your own plant pot — upcycle something from home like an old candle jar, coffee mug, tin, or glass container — and transform it into a personalized planter. Then, fill it with soil, plant seeds, and decorate your creation to brighten your room or gift to someone special. Seeds, soil, gravel for drainage, and a variety of decorating supplies will be provided. Just bring your upcycled container and your creativity! 🎨🌿 Take time to unwind, care for yourself, and care for the Earth. 💚🌍

Philly Field Trip: Hersheypark

We have a limited number of tickets for a trip to Hersheypark on Saturday, April 11th! We will gather at 7:30 AM to travel to Hersheypark. We will make it back to campus by 6 PM. Since these tickets are limited, you’ll need to do the following: 1. Fill out the form below by Monday, March 30th at 9 AM. If more students fill out the form than we have tickets for, we will randomly select among those who filled out the form. Those selected will be sent an email by 5 PM on Monday, March 30th letting them know they’ve been chosen. 2. Since tickets are limited, those LCH Residents who are selected must pay a $10 security deposit that will be returned to you on the day of the trip if you attend. If you are selected to attend the trip, you will have until Friday, April 3rd at 12 pm to bring your security deposit to the house office, located in Lauder 105. PLEASE NOTE, THIS DEPOSIT MUST BE EXACT CASH ONLY. If you do not bring exact cash, you will be asked to return with exact change. 3. Students who were not selected will be placed on a waiting list and emailed with additional instructions if spaces open up. Tickets are only available for LCH residents. 4. If the security deposit poses financial difficulties, you may email mahj16@upenn.edu to work something else out. https://www.hersheypark.com/

Community Clean Up and Lunch at Sabrina's

Join some of the Lauder (G)RAs for a community clean up and lunch after at Sabrina's! This is a chance to engage in service--to refresh and give back to our neighborhood, connect with fellow residents, and enjoy lunch after a job well done. We’ll start with a trash pick-up around the neighborhood (supplies provided!), then celebrate our efforts with a relaxed lunch together. Every helping hand makes a difference--engage in a meaningful start to your weekend, and leave knowing you made our community a little better.
