Productivity Hour

Do you need to kick start your semester with good habits? Want to start your week out right by planning your week ahead? Join faculty director Amy Stornaiuolo for a productivity hour across Mondays in September and October. We will be talking through the book Atomic Habits -- Amy will recap the highlights and offer concrete planning strategies she has been using for decades (you can borrow a copy from the House Office or the Penn Library if you want to read along but do not feel obligated). You can drop in and spend any part of the hour with us - there will be handouts/materials to take with you. First 20 min will be info sharing about the book (key ideas and a focal practice), second 20 minutes will be individual planning time, and last 20 minutes will be snacks/discussion and informal chatting about productivity and goal setting. Here is a link to the website about the book, with a video and top 10 insights from the author. We will do a second book study/productivity hour at the beginning of the spring semester (suggestions welcome for that book!). Hope you can join us!

About Gutmann

The Gutmann team of RAs, faculty, and staff work hard to establish a strong community and encourage residents to participate in activities that help us get to know each other, share our experiences, and grow individually and as a house. We encourage our residents to explore who they are through social activities and connection with each other. Together, we hope to shape our house into a vibrant home-away-from-home.
