STEM Career Panel

Are you applying to graduate school or summer research programs in a STEM field? Join faculty who have served on admissions and selection committees for a practical conversation about how to prepare a strong application. We’ll discuss what faculty and reviewers look for in statements, recommendation letters, and research experiences, and share tips on how to make your application stand out. After we answer your questions, you’ll have a chance to work on your application materials—so bring your drafts! Faculty will be available to offer personalized feedback and guidance. We’re offering two workshops to give you flexibility in attending and to provide networking opportunities with faculty from different STEM areas: Monday, November 17, 6–8 PM – Radian Lounge Hosted by Stouffer Faculty Fellow Arnold Mathijssen (Physics&Astronomy) and Radian Faculty Director Mona Merling (Mathematics) Thursday, November 20, 6–8 PM – Gutmann MPR Hosted by Gutmann Faculty Fellow Kellie Ann Jurado (Perelman School of Medicine, Microbiology) and Radian Faculty Director Mona Merling (Mathematics) Dinner will be provided — please RSVP to attend. Bring your questions—this is a great opportunity to get insider advice and connect with faculty across STEM disciplines!
