Join us for an afternoon of fun featuring: 🍿 Fresh popcorn 🍫 A decadent chocolate fountain 🎭 Mask-making station 🎶 Music, games, and more! In addition to all the treats, we’ll share quick tips on healthy drinking and consumption habits to help you enjoy the night safely. We’ll also have water bottles and electrolytes available to keep everyone hydrated and feeling great. Come in costume (if you’d like), bring your friends, and celebrate the start of Halloween night the Du Bois way—fun, creative, and community-centered! 👻

House-Wide Brain Break: S’mores + Halloween Treat Bags Tuesday, October 28, 2025 • 9:00–10:00 PM Community Kitchen (s’mores) + MPR (bag-making) Take a sweet study break with us! Learn how to make perfect s’mores in the Community Kitchen, then head to the MPR to decorate Halloween treat bags and fill them with goodies. We’ll also share quick tips on creating fun, culturally respectful costumes—no stereotypes, just creativity. Drop-in anytime during the hour Treats while supplies last Inclusive options available (vegan/gelatin-free marshmallows and nut-free candy) Bring a friend, your creativity, and your sweet tooth!

Founded in 1989, Chris' Jazz Cafe is the longest continuously operating jazz club in the history of Philadelphia, attracting visitors from more than 160 countries and all 50 states.
