Her work has appeared in Ugly Duckling Presse's Second Factory and 6x6, The Iowa Review, Annulet: A Journal of Poetics, and The Paris Review. Her first poetry collection *The Green Lives* is out this fall from Fonograf Editions.

Higher Education in Prison Series: Screening of Movie Daughters and Dinner

Join Faculty Director Mona Merling for a film screening of the movie Daughters, on Thursday, October 16th, 7-9 pm at the Bruce Montgomery Theater on campus, and an early dinner at the Radian beforehand at 5:15 pm (so that we can head over to the theater at 6:30 pm). The movie, hosted by cinéSPEAK and Penn Prison Education and Reentry Initiative, follows four families that are impacted by incarceration. Four daughters prepare for a special Father-Daughter dance with the incarcerated fathers as part of a special program in a Washington, DC jail.
