Mar 28 KINGS COURT ENGLISH Mask & Wig "Vaude-villainy" show Did you know that UPenn's Mask and Wig is one of the oldest musical-comedy, student-theatre groups in the country? They have been performing since 1889! And they are really fun to watch! Their spring production, Vaude-Villainy, closes this weekend at their Clubhouse in Center City –so this is our last chance to see it! In Sinneapolis, crime is of the essence. After earning his Ph.D. in Mad Science, Dr. Bad is ready to take over the city with his right hand, Penis-In-a-Can, and a whole posse of dismembered body parts. There’s only one thing left to do … be in a power couple. Dr. Bad is smitten with the KitKat Bar and Cabaret’s star, Lady Godiva. He sends klutzy henchman Schmutz to plant a love serum in Godiva’s perfume, so one puff would render her instantly smitten. But Schmutz is terribly, horribly in love with his boss! Classic. When the mission goes awry, Schmutz must decide: to what lengths will he go for Dr. Bad’s affection? Can I call this court to disorder? And how many evil lairs are there in this story? Find out in Mask and Wig’s 137th Annual Production: Vaude-Villainy! We are going this Saturday, March 28 at 6:00 pm! I(The show should end by 8:00 or 8:30 pm at the latest). f the weather is nice, we can walk there and will be leaving from KCECH's reception lobby at 5:00 pm sharp. If the weather is not so nice, we can take the bus (covered by KCECH) to Center City and leave by 5:15 pm sharp. We will confirm by email on Saturday morning. If you would like to come along, please email Lidia ASAP (lleon@upenn.edu) and bring $5 to the House Office (EH112) by Tuesday 03/24 by 4:00 pm. (Tickets are $15 or $25 with valid student ID, but KCECH can partially subsidize most of the cost 😉). If for any reason you're unable to make the payment, let Lidia and Isabelle know, and we can work it out. Please, RSVP only if you are able to commit, as tickets are non-refundable! We hope you'll join us!
