Active Minds,' a club on campus focused on generating discussions about mental health, is hosting their November GBM! The GBM is focused around hosting a circle about burnout and what rest looks like at Penn. This size room would be perfect to host a small circle for this type of conversation.

From Prof Matt Levendusky to Sonia:

I’m teaching a first-year seminar entitled How to Disagree Better, which explores how we can more effectively engage across lines of difference (the syllabus is attached if it’s useful). As part of the class, I gave them the option of what to do for a final project, and they wanted to try and teach the lessons from the class to other students (akin to an event I did with Lia & Paideia back in 2023, and with the library in 2024). To that end, I’m exploring how we might best do that, and so I wanted to connect with some folks in ResLife to see whether that would be possible, and if so, the best way to do that (and of course being cognizant of the fact that we’re rapidly approaching the end of the term, and that’s an incredibly busy time for everyone). I know a number of them live in the Quad and I’m sure they’d be interested in presenting to their peers (or at least, I hope they would be). If you have thoughts/ideas suggestions on what (if anything) might be possible, please let me know, I’d be happy to meet at your convenience.
