IFGLI General meeting
The purpose of this request is to host the first general meeting of the International First-Generation Low-Income (IFGLI) Club. This event will serve as both a mixer and an introduction to our mission, goals, and upcoming initiatives. By bringing students together in a welcoming and informal environment, we aim to:
Foster a sense of community among international, first-generation, and low-income undergraduates.
Introduce the executive board and outline the resources, mentorship, and support our club will provide.
Create space for members to share their experiences, build connections, and suggest programming they would like to see throughout the semester.
This first meeting will lay the foundation for a supportive and empowering community where students can find mentorship, opportunities, and belonging.
National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Welcome Event!
To introduce first year students to NSBE, we will be having an event with food, ice-breakers, and fun filled activities. We would like to use this space as it is convenient for first-year students (especially engineers!) and it gives us access to a screen. To room is also conductive to socialization which will be an important part of our event.
ESAC Recruitment
The Engineering Student Activities Council (ESAC) is hoping to conduct our final round interviews and deliberations in Harrison Study Room 102 from 3pm to roughly 11pm. We need a space such as this study room to fit our board members and one interviewee in order to complete our recruitment process. Please let me know if any further information is needed, thank you!
