The executive board of Africana UAB will hold our once-a-semester event called Hot Wings & Hot Takes, where we create space for students to give their opinions on pop culture & socio-political topics that affect our lives today. We also provide food during this event and provide a safe space for everyone to express their opinions.

We will convene our weekly OOSF member meeting. During this time, attendees will discuss ongoing initiatives, review progress on current projects, align on upcoming goals, and assign action items for the week ahead. The meeting will also provide an opportunity for members to raise questions, share updates, and collaborate on planning and strategy.
