PSO Board is organizing a community-building event--a game night--to bring all of our musicians together outside a performance context!

HOUSE EVENT- SEE PROPOSAL

I’d like to request this space for our upcoming Palestinian Tatreez Night on Friday, November 7 at 6:30 PM. The event will include a short embroidery workshop with Tatreez kits, as well as catered Palestinian food and Arab snacks.

Movie night

Enjoy watching a film about the Deaf President Now Movement during this Penn In Hand event! The story of the great civil rights movement most people have never heard about. During eight tumultuous days in 1988 at the world's only Deaf university, four students must find a way to lead a revolution and change the course of history. Enjoy the movie and a brief voice-off ASL discussion.


Du Bois residents open to watch the film, but the discussion afterwards will be in ASL with no speaking allowed, so they might struggle to understand if they don't know the language.
