One More Time: Movie night: Devil Wears Prada 2

On more time. For those who have moved out and are checking your email from home. I hope all is well and thank you for being a part of Harnwell. For those of you who are stuck with more in-person exams this coming week, or those who are graduating, or those who are helping with graduation or alumni weekend, or those who are staying for as long as possible, take a break with Harnwell tonight and come see the Devil Wears Prada 2. RSVP<https://forms.gle/tehQxcjykbKHWcDb9> and meet in the lobby at 7:20PM. If I had to write a review, I would have to say there was nothing nice about the Devil Wears Prada 1. It beatified all the means and shallowness in the world. It turned everything into surface level, petty, means. Betrayal, cheating, lying, and all the accessories we put on our bodies to pretend like we are something we aspire to be. Those who can’t afford it are striving to afford it. Those who can afford it are trying to be even more the center of attention. The world of cut throat commerce and everyone trying to get another dime for themselves. Starts to sound like a bro in a fleece. All the foundational meanness, greed, selfishness….and yet it all looks so amazing. Part one was a good movie. So let’s go see Emily, Andy, and Miranda as they navigate teh world of commerce. Take a break from your final weekend of cramming. Cramming for an exam or cramming your boxes, bags, suitcases, and cars full of stuff. We will meet in the lobby at 7:20pm. Saturday 9 May 2026.
