DWIP with Emily Steiner
At our next DWIP ("Dinners With Interesting People") this semester, the featured guest will be Emily Steiner, the A.M. Rosenthal Professor in Penn's English Department. She'll start with a brief presentation in McClelland 008, and we'll continue the discussion over dinner: "Do you love literature but never have enough time to read and write? Let’s discuss all the ways of pursuing the literary life at Penn, from taking exciting courses, to creative writing, to majoring and minoring in English. We’ll talk about the kind of research that Penn literature professors do, as well as about careers open to literature majors after graduation."

A Toast to You: Affirmations for Midterm Season
The program will encourage residents to reflect on their strengths and create positive reminders to carry them through the midterm period. Residents will create Penn-inspired affirmation cards, such as lightbulb or toast-shaped cards, featuring personalized affirmations and messages of encouragement. Residents can also create affirmation keychains using the bead making kit.

To foster appreciation and recognition for the staff members who contribute to the daily operation, cleanliness, safety, and overall community of Ware College House.
