What are the vibes in Gregory?

The vibes in Gregory College House are relaxed, welcoming, and community-oriented. Thanks to its smaller size and cozy layout, it’s easy for residents to build genuine connections with their peers, faculty, and staff. Gregory has a calmer and more relaxed atmosphere, offering a quieter living environment while still encouraging students to socialize and engage with one another. Residents often come together during house-wide events, floor activities, and outside on the beach area, creating a strong sense of community and belonging.

How do we live Gregory's motto?

Gregory College House lives out its motto, “Multis e Gentibus Vires” (“From many peoples, strength”), by creating a community where students from different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences feel welcomed and valued. Residents learn from one another through everyday conversations, shared experiences, and house events that bring people together. Gregory’s close-knit environment encourages meaningful connections and mutual respect, showing that the House’s strength truly comes from the diversity and unity of its community.

Gregory is a really special place on campus! It’s a close-knit community where it’s easy to find people to connect with, especially if you haven’t quite found your group at Penn yet. Since it’s a four-year College House, you get to meet and live with students from all years and majors, which adds a lot of depth and variety to the community.
