APSC x CHAS Film Screening Event

APSC is thrilled to partner with PAACH, GIC, La Casa Latina, and Harrison College House to present an exclusive film screening of Shutter Bird, an Oscar-qualifying short film, directed by Penn alumnus and Forbes 30 under 30 Justin "Réi" Ching. Join us for an exclusive Q&A session with Justin and a premiere of Shutter Bird (30 minute short film).

Date: Sunday, November 9 at 5PM
Location: Harrison College House, Seminar Room M-20 (on mezzanine past the elevators)

About Shutter Bird:
A troubled young Latina photographer and Asian American juvenile delinquent yearn to escape their farm town in Santa Ynez Valley, CA, but the psychological, cultural, and at times mystical obstacles threaten to hold them forever. Shutter Bird will also be featured at the Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival on November 15.
