Stouffer Faculty Director to lead Nursing global engagement

Prof. Carmen Alvarez, the Faculty Director in Stouffer College House, has been named by the School of Nursing as the Associate Dean for Global Engagement and as director of the Center for Global Women's Health, beginning February 2. Dr. Alvarez, whose career has focused on community-based solutions to healthcare problems for marginalized populations, will create opportunities for Penn Nursing faculty and students to improve health outcomes around the world.
